Description: The site of the Holy Temple was destined before creation. It is the place where Akeidat Yitzchak took place and where Yaakov dreamed his dream of a ladder on which angels ascend and descend to and from the heavenly realms. These refer to the flow of blessing, sustenance and prayer which occurs between heaven and earth at this point. This is the foundation stone of the world, the point of emanation of the entire universe.
The birds represent the return of the Jewish People to the Land of Israel at the time of redemption.
