Description: This image is multi-layered in its technique and symbolism. The “marriage” between G-d and the Jewish People at Sinai, and their eternal bond of love are represented by the bridal couple. Two shofrot herald this event and simultaneously greet the coming of Mashiach. The doves symbolize the return of the Jewish People to the Land of Israel. A flow of blessing descends from above through the image of the Keruvim, which adorned the Aron in the Beit Hamikdash. They face each other in an expression of love. The “Tree of Life”, representing the Torah, is embraced by the heavenly Keruvim which were placed by G-d as its guardian in the Garden of Eden.
